Advanced Practice Providers

At this time we are NOT able to grant any Pediatric Rotations as there are no pediatric slots available. Please do not apply for pediatric rotations through this portal.

Thank you for your interest in an APP clinical student rotation with Kettering Health. Due to the high volume of requests, currently we are able to accommodate applications only from employees of Kettering Health and PA students from Kettering College. If you meet that criteria, please feel free to proceed with your portal applications. You will need to log in using your KH employee number and password to complete an application. Please have specific details available, including exact dates of requested rotation and information of any requested preceptor, including address and suite number. Portal applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. In an effort to streamline the review process, please limit requests to one rotation per application. Apply For A Rotation

To request a rotation at one of our facilities:

Complete an Advanced Practitioner Application and submit with a copy of your resume.
Submitting a request does not guarantee placement. It is recommended that all requests be submitted 60-90 days prior to rotation. Students and programs should not cold call any Kettering Health sites.

Kettering Health is committed to the professional development of our employees and the needs of our Kettering College students, and is offering priority placement to them.

Before Starting Your Rotation

Once a rotation is approved and scheduled, the following requirements need to be completed prior to start of your clinical rotation:

Affiliation agreement must be in place between your school and Kettering Health.
1 hour orientation
The provider classes are not mandatory before seeing patients. (new providers just need to schedule a class within a month of their start date)
Currently, only completion of assigned eLearning in HealthStreams is required for new providers prior to seeing patients.
The classes are all Virtual via Teams, and they are only 2 hours max.
