Thank you for your interest in the Breast Imaging fellowship at Kettering Medical Center.
Number of Fellowship Positions: 2 per year
Duration of Fellowship: 1 year
Kettering Network Radiologist Inc. in partnership with Kettering Hospital and Medical Center, seek outstanding, proactive and self-motivated applicants for fully funded non-ACGME accredited Breast Imaging Fellowship positions. We will participate in the Breast Imaging Match Program.
The fellowship will be performed in Kettering's three dedicated Breast Centers (Kettering Breast Evaluation Centers) and include training in digital mammography, digital tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound performance and interpretation, breast MRI, stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guided breast biopsies, and radioactive seed localizations. Annually we perform approximately 60,000 screening mammograms, 15,000 diagnostic mammograms, 3,000 breast procedures, and 2,000 breast MRIs.
Involvement with interdepartmental weekly conferences and teaching of residents is expected. The fellow will also have the opportunity to attend one national meeting during the fellowship year.
