Several opportunities are available for our graduates. One significant option is 4th year chief resident. This is a junior faculty position which includes planning the yearly resident conference lecture series, chiefing in the ambulatory clinic, attending on inpatient services, participating in scholarship and participating in innovations in medical education. This position is chosen by the faculty and given to a resident demonstrating substantial achievement on the 6 core competencies.

Additionally, the sponsoring institution provides opportunities for employment as a hospitalist or in primary care setting. The majority of our residents choose to do a fellowship.
