Mission & Aims

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Kettering Health Network Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Training Program is not only to develop outstanding interventional cardiologists who provide whole person care but also align with our institutional mission to improve the quality of life of the people in our community through health care and education.

Program Aims:
Our broad aim is to train fellows on all aspects of cutting-edge cardiovascular therapy from lifestyle to structural heart procedures as measured by the milestones. As such, fellows participate in structured didactics, simulation, regional and national conferences. We also foster an environment of professionalism and anticipate that they will be competent in compassion, integrity, and respect for others. Fellows are exposed to the fundamentals of clinical research to enable them to participate in quality research activities. The fellowship strives to create an environment of inquiry for lifelong learning and physician well-being.
