Dr. Brucker was born and raised in North Dakota. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and played collegiate baseball at the University of Jamestown. He spent the past four years in Las Vegas attending medical school at Touro University Nevada. He is excited to be back in the Midwest and pursue his career in Ophthalmology. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and his two children Charlotte (2.5 yrs) and Paul (1 yr).
John Faro, MD

Dr. Faro is originally from Gallipolis, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh and medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. In his free time, he enjoys baseball, hiking, weight lifting, and trying new foods with his wife, Naomi. Dr. Faro will continue his training in Diagnostic Radiology next year at Duke University.
Ryan Flynn, DO

Dr. Flynn was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York before attending the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. After completing his transitional year at Soin, Dr. Flynn will begin his training in diagnostic radiology here at Kettering Health Network. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, spending time with his fiancée, and keeping up on his New York sports teams.

Nicole Martinez, MD

A Dayton native, Dr. Martinez grew up in Miamisburg, Ohio. She went to Northwestern University for her undergraduate and completed medical school at The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. After the Kettering Soin Transitional Year, she will go on to The University of Iowa to complete training in diagnostic radiology. Outside of medicine she is an avid reader and enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
Edward Passen, DO

Dr. Edward Passen was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. After serving as Brutus Buckeye at Ohio State, he attended Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was elected student government president. He is passionate about leadership in medicine, innovative therapeutics, and he enjoys working with a wide variety of patient populations. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, cycling, and cooking.
Lydia Payton, MD

Dr. Payton is a Louisville native, but she has spent her life after high school in the state of Ohio, completing her undergraduate education at the University of Dayton and completing her medical education at the University of Cincinnati. After completing her transitional year at Kettering, she will be moving to Indianapolis, IN, to begin her radiology residency. In her spare time, she enjoys taking care of her bernedoodle named Beaux, as well as staying active by running and cycling.
