Mission & Aims

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Kettering Health Network Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Training Program is not only to develop outstanding intensivists who provide whole-person care, but also to align with our institutional mission to improve the quality of life of the people in our community through healthcare and education
Program Aims:
Our broad aim is to train fellows in all aspects of cutting-edge critical care therapy, from resuscitation and hemodynamic support to advanced life-sustaining technologies, as measured by the milestones. As such, fellows participate in structured didactics, simulation, and regional and national conferences. We also foster an environment of professionalism and anticipate that they will demonstrate compassion, integrity, and respect for others. Fellows are exposed to the fundamentals of clinical research to enable participation in meaningful quality improvement and scholarly activities. The fellowship strives to create an environment of inquiry that promotes lifelong learning and physician well-being
