Emily Artz Pearson, DO, MPH

Emily Artz Pearson, D.O., M.P.H, is from Tipp City, Ohio. She completed her B.S. in Psychology with a Behavioral Neuroscience concentration from Wright State University. Emily then obtained a dual D.O./M.P.H. degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Emily has a variety of interests in medicine, including osteopathy and mental health. Her hobbies change often, but she consistently likes to read, travel, spend time in nature, and do all kinds of arts and crafts. She currently lives with her husband, daughter, and two cats.

Spencer Warden, MD
University of Cincinnati COM
Spencer Warden, MD, is a life-long Ohio native who grew up in Cambridge, went to undergraduate in Columbus, medical school in Cincinnati, and now residency in Dayton. He loves all aspects of Family Medicine but finds particular interest in substance use and behavioral health. He chose the rural pathway because of his small-town upbringing and desire to learn how to provide excellent care in other areas with similarly scarce resources. He's rotated with the Indian Health Service and hopes to continue to seek out similar opportunities to learn from different communities in the future. Outside of medicine you can find him with his fiancée (an M2 at Wright State as of 2023) hiking, rock-climbing, or playing pickup basketball. You may also find him proudly boasting about having seen and rated over 1000 movies on Letterboxd.

Madison Ciaramitaro, MD
University of Louisville SOM
Dr. Ciaramitaro was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and is proud to be returning to the area for residency. She received her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. While in Kentucky, she completed several rotations that sparked her interest in rural medicine. Her other interests within family medicine include geriatrics and preventative health. In her free time she enjoys walks with her husband and dog, crocheting, and playing pickleball.

Andrew Testas, MD
Wright State University Boonshoft SOM
Andrew grew up in Trenton, Ohio, and is the oldest of four siblings. After high school, he graduated with a degree in biology from Cedarville University, where he married his wonderful wife, Brooke, and ran cross country and track. Andrew then attended medical school at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine. Here, he realized his passion for primary care, with a particular love for rural medicine. His goal is to be a small-town family doctor who provides the excellent physical, mental, and spiritual care that his patients need. During medical school, Andrew and Brooke welcomed their first two children into the world, and have a third on the way. He and his family are very involved in their local church. In his free time, Andrew enjoys going on walks with his family, traveling with his wife, and cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Newcastle United.

Jerome "Bo" Bey, MD
Wright State University
Dr. Bey, MD, grew up in the small farming community of Versailles, OH, one of four siblings in a close-knit rural town. After graduating from Versailles High School, he earned a BS in Biomedical Science from The Ohio State University. He went on to receive his MD from Wright State University, where his involvement in the Rural Medical Scholars program deepened his passion for improving healthcare in underserved rural areas. Dr. Bey is committed to training in full-spectrum, patient-centered care with the goal of practicing in rural Ohio. In his free time, he enjoys sports, trivia, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah Clouse, MD
Wright State University
Sarah Clouse, MD, has enjoyed living in Ohio her entire life. She grew up in the small town of Somerset, then attended Wright State University in Dayton, where she earned undergraduate degrees in biology and public health, as well as her medical doctorate. She is passionate about bringing broad spectrum care to those in underserved rural communities, and she has a special interest in women's health. In her free time, Dr. Clouse enjoys spending time with her husband, playing with her mini-Aussie doodle, reading, and playing games both inside and outside. Among family she is also known for her love of desserts, especially dark chocolate and ice cream.
