M. Drew Bentley

M. Drew Bentley, DO

Drew Bentley, D.O. was born in Portsmouth, Ohio. From small town farm life to big city living, he has lived in Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. He received his bachelor degree at his home town college, Shawnee State University and graduated medical school from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His medical passions include behavioral health and LGBT+ medicine. When not practicing medicine he enjoys physical activities both indoor and outdoor, drawing, playing piano, and taking care of his cat.
Samantha Long

Samantha Long, DO

Sam Long, D.O., was born in the Chicago suburbs, and decided to take the scenic route to medicine after getting accepted to Syracuse University for broadcast journalism. Ultimately, she graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Psychology, before going on to work with seniors with dementia and in an Emergency Department in the Chicago suburbs prior to moving to Cleveland to obtain a Master's in Medical Physiology at Case Western Reserve University. After working as a clinical coordinator at UH, she completed her medical education in Athens and Toledo through Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She holds ten belts in martial belts overall and is a current brown belt in Krav Maga, and also loves traveling, rock climbing, and hanging out with her tailless manx cat.
Manisha Patel

Manisha Patel, MD

Manisha Patel M.D. was raised in Dover, Ohio. Before attending medical school, she was an assistant manager at the Discount Drug Mart in Centerville. She attended Ohio State University for her undergrad, and American University of the Caribbean for medical school in Sint Maarten. She is excited about helping LGTBQ patients in the Dayton area and creating a safe, non-judgmental environment for all patients. She is passionate about astronomy, the Titanic, both the movie and history, as well as traveling with her family.

Dean Quaranta

Dr. Quaranta is originally from Cincinnati, OH. He received his BA at Emory University and MD at the American University of the Caribbean down on the island of Sint Maarten. He is interested in pursuing a career in outpatient family medicine. He enjoys traveling, cooking, playing sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
Grant Ridgway

Grant Ridgway, MD

Grant Ridgway, MD was born in Hanover, NH and promptly moved to southern Maine where he grew up. He studied history in college and did not decide on a medical path until after graduation. In the process of applying to medical school, he worked at different hospitals in the northeast and was able to enjoy experiences in multiple aspects of medical care and ultimately return to complete a Master's in Biomedical Sciences at Tuft's University in Boston. When thinking about primary care, he is most excited about holistically approaching the treatment of patients with a particular focus on mental health wellbeing. Grant enjoys spending time most with his wife and two sons, carpentry, and hiking.
Nate Rollison

Nathanael Rollison, M.D., was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. After high school, he went on to obtain degrees in Neuroscience and Biology at Indiana University, where he was also a resident assistant for three years. He then attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine. There he was passionate about student engagement and took part in the student government, the wellness initiative, and the service-learning student organization. He was also involved with the LGBTQ+ student group and continues to be passionate about LGBTQ+ healthcare. In his free time, he likes to play board games, video games, and Dungeons and Dragons with his friends.

Courtney-Lynn Stahl

Courtney-Lynn Stahl, MD was born and raised in the Bronx, New York and is of Jamaican heritage. She made her way to Southwest Michigan for college at Andrews University, and has lived in the Midwest ever since. She is passionate about continuity of care and open communication in medicine. She hopes to emphasize the importance of spiritual and mental wellbeing as part of optimal health. She enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks, eating bread and pasta, and singing and planning events at church.

Aaron Berenson, MD

Dr. Berenson is a Dayton area native who is thrilled to be returning home for his residency training! His undergraduate education was completed at Wright State University before he attended medical school at the University of Toledo. His specific interests in Family Medicine include preventative care, sports medicine, and providing longitudinal care for patients over a lifetime. Some of the hobbies he enjoys are board games, ballroom dancing with his wife, and cooking.

Dr. Heinzen grew up in the Chicago suburbs, but has been living in Richmond, IN for the past decade of her life. She's very excited to move to the Dayton area and to be closer to some of her husband's family. Her favorite parts of Family Medicine are the wide variety of conditions we get to treat and the long-term relationships we develop with patients. Outside of medicine, Bailey enjoys spending time with her husband and infant daughter, walking her dog, and practicing archery.

Dr. Liew is originally from Toledo, OH but is excited to be completing residency here in Dayton. He attended Youngstown State University for his undergraduate degree and completed medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He enjoys the variety of outpatient family medicine but has interests in sports medicine, mental health, and botox. In his free time, he enjoys cooking/eating delicious food, playing video games, hiking with his fiancée, watching Marvel/DC superhero movies, playing the piano, and singing.

Jannise Schimpf, MD was born in Argentina where she lived until her family moved to Maryland at age 6. Jannise spent most of her childhood on the East Coast before returning to her home country of Argentina to complete high school and her medical school training. Her medical interests include global health and lifestyle medicine. In her free time, she enjoys connecting with nature, training at the gym, and sharing delicious food with family and friends.

Dr. Severs is originally from Nebraska and is excited to return to the beauty of the midwest after completing medical school at Loma Linda University in California. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing board games, and watching movies with her husband. She is particularly interested in partnering with her patients to achieve their goals through lifestyle medicine and in learning how each of us can maintain our resilience despite often broken circumstances.

Dr. Steiger is originally from Solon, Ohio. She received her bachelors degree from The Ohio State University, masters degree from Case Western Reserve University, and medical degree from St. George's University in Grenada. She is excited to be back in her home state for residency training encompassing her interests in rural medicine and women's health. When outside the hospital, she photographs her traveling adventures, plays golf, and hikes with her husband. She also spends plenty of quality time with her two cats, Callie and Wellie.

Dr. Toot is originally from Canton, Ohio and received his PhD from Kent State University. Prior to pursuing medicine, he worked in drug development with a focus on juvenile/developmental toxicology and drug abuse liability assessments. Dr. Toot's medical interests include academic medicine, hospice/palliative care, and addressing social determinants of health. Outside of medicine, he enjoys doing home renovation projects, working on cars, and spending time with his family.

Emmanuel Chiebuka, MD

Dr. Chiebuka was born in a small town Abakaliki in Nigeria. After graduating from medical school, he practiced as a physician in Nigeria as a PCP before relocating to the United States for his Master's in healthcare administration. He headed several projects in underserved communities in Nigeria while serving as an advocacy director for several years. He advocated for health and reproductive rights for women in Nigeria, caring for the victims of illegal abortions. He also advocated for youth education and dangers of illicit drug use among the youth in his community. He was drawn to Soin Family Medicine during the AAFP conference in Kansas City, because the faculty showed genuine interest in his experiences. He knew Soin FM was the program for him right after his interview! All through the interview season he met with several residents, faculty and staff, and found that everyone was friendly, open and helpful in answering his questions. He loved the family feel of the program and knew he would be supported in reaching his goals, both personally and professionally. He described the beautiful hospital that he saw during his second look visit as a wellness element. He perceived the Soin FM program as truly an ideal program for him and he is excited to be a part of the family! Outside of medicine, He is enthused with soccer because it unites the communities, and he noted that he is a big fan of Arsenal Football Club in London. He also likes volleyball and swimming.
Marshall Eippert, DO

Dr. Eippert is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Moeller High School and attended Wittenberg University for his pre-medicine studies, a true Ohioan! A lifelong athlete, Marshall found a passion for disc golf following his time playing college baseball. His love for primary care is rooted in admiration for his grandfather, who was a Family Medicine physician for over 40 years. Marshall hopes to merge his love for athletics and healthcare through a focus on sports medicine, serving athletes at all levels holistically. In particular, he loves to work with adaptive athletes and those in the sports community with limited access to primary care. Marshall's other hobbies include renovating his home with his wife Maddie (a Dayton Children's pediatrics resident), escape rooms, and spoiling his cats.
Geoffrey Evans, MD

Dr. Evans is a Dayton native who completed his undergraduate degree in English at Wright State University. He ultimately decided on a career in medicine and remained at the Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine for medical school. Within Family Medicine, he is excited by the wide variety of practice opportunities available as well as the relationships one can develop with patients over time. Outside of medicine, Geoff can be found enjoying a good book or movie, playing drums and bass guitar, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Harris was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. She is a first-generation college and medical school graduate, having obtained her B.S. in Biochemistry at Purdue University and her M.D. at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Her medical interests include outpatient family medicine, patient health literacy, and nutrition. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors hiking and biking. She has a lazy yet spunky longhair black cat named Winston - a name inspired by one of her favorite historical figures: Sir Winston Churchill.

Dr. Harwood was raised in Albuquerque, NM. She grew up involved in the Greek Orthodox community and the Refugee Well-Being Project. She played soccer at the University of New Mexico. During her soccer career she had four orthopedic surgeries and found her niche in the sports medicine world. She went on to attend Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine where she met her husband Katon Harwood, and they had their first daughter Eva. She continues to find her conversations that build a relationship with her patients as the most fulfilling part of primary care. Ari Jo enjoys her time with her husband, daughter, and dogs going to the lake, cooking, and working out in their home gym!

Dr. Inman is originally from Indianapolis, IN. She attended Indiana University for undergraduate and medical school. She also obtained a Master's in public health focusing on health policy and administration during that time. Her medical interests include women's health, public health, and health advocacy. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, baking, walking her two dogs, and traveling with her husband.

Shaunrick Stoll, MD

Dr. Stoll was born on the beautiful Caribbean Islands of Trinidad and Tobago. After earning his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of the Southern Caribbean, he moved to southern California where he pursued a dual degree in Medicine and Pharmacology at Loma Linda University. There, he served in multiple student leadership capacities and engaged in numerous international service experiences. He is passionate about "Whole Person Care" and believes that social, mental, and spiritual wellbeing contribute to physical health. Shaunrick enjoys spending time with friends, cycling, and playing his steel drums. Be sure to ask him about his pet gecko.

Dr. Strickland is a lifelong Floridian who is excited to experience the Midwest. She studied engineering in college and worked as a mechanical engineer before finally completing her lifelong dream of attending medical school at the University of Florida. Her interests within family medicine include sports medicine, preventive care and lifestyle medicine. She spends her free time with her wife going to concerts, hiking and playing with their three dogs.

Dr. Le was born and raised in Utah. He received both his bachelor's and medical degrees at Brown University in Providence, RI. He completed his first year of residency at Wright State University's Emergency Medicine program. Due to a shift in values and life goals in the setting of numerous life events, he decided to pursue a transition to Family Medicine and was accepted at Soin Family Medicine residency program. Weiyi enjoys snowboarding, volleyball, rock climbing, and ultimate frisbee. He loves playing and composing piano music which he uploads to YouTube and Spotify (though he's generally too shy to share it with people). Above all, he values time spent with friends and family, especially throwing stuffed animals at his nieces/nephews and stealing their desserts.
